As the Organization of IT Service Employers (Software Development Association Poland – SoDA), representing the IT industry, we carefully observe the legislative and law-making process in Poland.
We adopt a position on individual legal acts subject to public consultations. However, we see that a number of provisions could be improved at an early stage. With the participation of companies participating in SoDA, Polish regulations can take into account the requirements of modernity and competitiveness on the global and European market to an even greater extent.
Therefore, we recommend and we are ready to engage in the following projects:
PLACING MORE EMPHASIS ON LAW CREATION IN THE FIELD OF IT AND DIGITALIZATION.
Today, in the Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) process, the issue of digitalization is only marginally addressed, among many other topics, such as the impact of regulation on demography, health and the judiciary. Meanwhile, modern Poland should treat digitization and informatization as a key element of the competitiveness of the economy. As an industry, we are able to get involved and teach legislators to change this approach and participate in such regulatory impact assessments.
EXPERT SUPPORT PROVIDED BY POLISH AUTHORITIES IN THE PROCESS OF CREATING NEW REGULATIONS OF EUROPEAN LAW .
Regulations on digitization should take into account the responsible shaping of the competitiveness of the Polish economy.
